The Bellflower Rotary club will again be doing much needed repairs to a womens shelter in Bellflower.
Last year we completed a number of projects but there is more to do. Rotarians and family members will be doing repairs in the main kitchen from repairing cabinets to plumbing work. While work is going on in the kitchen other volunteers will be installing a vegetable garden so that the women and the kids can have the experience of growing their own vegetables, most of the ladies have never had that opportunity. While all this work is going on, other volunteers will be playing games, doing crafts and reading to the kids.
