Location: Seattle, Washington

We successfully planted 127 mature Trees in West Seattle, Washington. The Rotary Club organized the event, joined by participating groups: Boy Scouts of America (Centennial Project); Cub Scouts of America; City of Seattle Parks & Recreation; Master Gardeners of West Seattle; City of Seattle Arborist; Adopt-A-Street Program; Adopt-A-Traffic Circle Program; Community Harvest of SW Seattle, Keller Williams Real Estate, and other neighborhood and community groups. This event also celebrated the 25th Anniversary of Seattle's participation in the Tree City USA program, kicked off a month of tree-planting activities in the City, and continued a long history of RC of West Seattle tree-planting projects. Many families participated. Media coverage included print, internet, and TV.
