Rotary Club of Auburn is partnering with the City of Auburn, the School Park Preserve Committee and local garden clubs to create a community garden in the park behind City Hall. An access road will be built, electrical wires and conduit will be installed, an irrigation system will be designed and installed. A team of about sixty volunteers will bring in over 100 yards of top soil and soil amendments. Pathways will be created as well as two assembly areas. When completed the community garden will be used for garden demonstrations and for public gardens shared by local garden clubs.
