Ione Homecoming has been celebrated annually every year since 1876. It is an old fashioned group picnic where all of the towns current and former residents get together for two days of fun and to get reacquainted. For our Rotarians at Work Day we will be rebuilding and surfacing the horseshoe pits, painting the various outbuildings in the park, repairing the dunk tank and generally cleaning up the park where the Homecoming will be held. The Ione Picnic Association will provide all of the materials for the project and we will provide the labor and tools to complete the project. All in all, it will be a fun day of bonding the members of our club and helping to make an historic event fun for everyone.
