D7730 wanted to do a District Wide Community Service, but with the Distance across our District being over 4 hours,,,we took a unique approach and Declared May 2, 2009 ...Operation Make Dreams Real Day. in which OUr Clubs got to choose the community service project they want to do in their own communities. The projects involved Clean up of Parks, Planting Trees in Memory of past Rotarians, Painting, Construction, Relay for Life, Clean up of a River,Food Drives and More. We had two GSE teams here at the same time and they worked right along beside us.
