The project involves the installation of a 9 hole disc golf course within existing Arkelian Park in Livingston, California. T-box pads and goal post sleeve holes will be dug and formed for concrete among existing trees and landscaping. Our goal is to get families playing and exercising together outdoors with minimal participation costs (discs). Volunteers and potential hole sponsors are welcome to join us. We intend to follow up this event by partnering with local agencies to hold a community day - health fair in which families are given free discs (various logos) and lessons. Score sheets and maps for the course can be downloaded from the City's website or obtained at the library.
