this is an ongoing work project for the South Cowichan Club - we have been working for the past 4 months on taking down trees, clearing undergrowth, preparing paths in two separate parks in our community. Both are very visible to the public and will bear Rotary signage. One was previously a park - but become unused and overgrown. The other is a new park in response to a petition by local residents for a dog park. The club is working in conjunction with local residents and the CVRD Parks Board. Completion for both parks is expected to be early summer 2008.
