Volunteers perform a variety of activities at the Sacramento Food Bank. Fresh produce is bagged from bins into 3 to 5 pound bags depending on the item. Rice and pasta delivered in 100 pound bags are also re-packaged. Boxes of one week of food for seniors are packaged for distribution.
