The Westchester Rotary Club will spend April 25 to April 28 making major repairs to the home of a family with a disabled mother. Through volunteers, cash contributions and in-kind donations of local businesses, the Club will:
*Create a handicapped accessible bathroom.
*Replace all of the flooring.
*Replace all of the windows and doors.
*Paint the house inside and out.
*Repair handicapped accessible ramps.
*Build an accessible deck facing a newly landscaped backyard.
*Replace nearly every stick of furniture in the house.
Last year's project attracted over 100 volunteers from the Club and community, and we expect more this year as the word has gotten out.
The project brings together the Westchester community to help its own and allows the Club to Share Rotary.
