Tree Planting

Canada

District: 5020

Rotary Club: Royal Oak Centennial

26-Apr-08

Time: 9:00am

Number of Volunteers Expected: 20

Location: Glendale Gardens

We will be planting trees in the Conservation area of Glendale Gardens. The Conservation area consists of 2.3 hectares of Garry Oak habitat and meadow flowers, 1.68 hectares of second growth Douglas Fir corridors and a largely restored pond and riparian area. The trail system, bird watching areas and viewing station are open to the public at no charge year round. Its continuing habitat restoration and conservation are entirely reliant on grants and donations.
