The Rotarians in South Lake Tahoe have committed a large part of our budget to helping preserve and maintain a local fishing pond for children in South Lake Tahoe (Sawmill Pond). Along with providing funds to help stock the pond with fish, we also provide funds and labor to its upkeep. This particular day included repairing fences, improving and increasing signage, and other miscellaneous repair jobs around the lake. WE plan to help the Forest Service make the pond more ADA accessible as well as providing a fun family oriented location for locals as well as tourists.
