We will be installing new playground equipment for our preschool childcare program that serves a large number of low-income families. By the end of the day the kids will have a mini-basketball court, new play structures, slide, and privacy fencing.
Tasks will include assembling equipment, spreading bark, painting, limited digging and drilling. There will also be lighter manual tasks inside some of the classrooms.
Coffee and refreshments will be avialable through out the day.
Work will start at 7 AM but people are welcome to show up anytime between 7-11 AM and stay has long as they can.
The project is at the downtown location 2021 W Street and workers will want to park in our lower parking lot (right before the train tracks).
