We are going to be cleaning up Boy Scout Island at the lake in Chowchilla. Our primary goal is to strip off old paint on the benches and repaint the benches. We will also be helping the Boyscouts in their efforts to beautify the island. During our time there, we will be placing a plaque on the island in appreciation of a past Rotarian/Boy Scout, Jerry Belton, who pasted away last year. Jerry was very involved in both Rotary as well as the Boy Scouts so we thought this project would be well represented.
